Re: No Target shown for Symbolic links
You want the entire configuration color list; if so, why ?
Re: No Target shown for Symbolic links
because if there are other color filters listed above that attr:junction one, they can override it.

That I know; it is the first color filter ?SammaySarkar wrote:because if there are other color filters listed above that attr:junction one, they can override it.

Re: No Target shown for Symbolic links
(Okay, all right, go ahead.)
You posted these screencaps:
Neither is in the Details View mode. First one looks like list, and the second looks like a thumbnail view.
ColorFilters[edit]column fields[/edit] are displayed only in details view afaik.

Re: No Target shown for Symbolic links
I moved attr:junction to the top of the color filters list, and changed the display type to list which by the way I knew always had to be set to list otherwise color filters may not work, especially when testing
Although, after doing all this, the junctions / symbolic links are not colorized ?

Re: No Target shown for Symbolic links
go to tools>config>color filters. Make sure this is checked: "apply color filters to the list"
[my mistake, I meant column fields like junction target are only displayed in details view. Color filters on the other hand show up in any view]

Re: No Target shown for Symbolic links
It works in both Details & Lists !SammaySarkar wrote:no, columns are only visible in details view.
Regardless mine is set to Details and the custom junction target is visible it doesn't appear as though the color filter is working ?

Re: No Target shown for Symbolic links
the column headers can be shown in any view, but the column's data for each item can be only on details view.
Why can't you post a complete screenshot of your color filters configuration. Are they confidential?
Also please stop posting uselessly cropped 10%-screenshots.

Re: No Target shown for Symbolic links
Based on the cropped screen shot, and the color filter for the junction at the top of the color filter list, shouldn't, although it's cropped; you see a color for the files below the junction column in the screen shot, although the last screen shot may not be that visible, yes or no ?SammaySarkar wrote:the column headers can be shown in any view, but the column's data for each item can be only on details view.

The column is setup correctly etc.
Re: No Target shown for Symbolic links
you've repeatedly said color filters are not showing up, and we believe you. There's no reason to post screenshots for that single fact again and again.
We're trying to help you figure out why color filters aren't working.
Nobody asked you to post proofs of color filters not showing up, yet you keep doing that.
on the other hand, we've repeatedly asked you to post a screenshot of the color filter config but you've put your foot down on not doing that.
