When you click a single file, then shift+click a second, all files between the first and second are selected--and if you keep the mouse button pressed, you can immediately drag the selected files.
The same is not true with ctrl+click. When you ctrl+click another file, you must let go of the button and then click it again in order to drag the items.
I wish I could immediately drag it without having to re-press the button.

This is small thing that annoys me every day.

Re: Immediate selection of group w/ ctrl+click, as w/ shift
Ctrl+click is applied on mouse-up, so it's logical that you must down the button again for a drag.
(I just saw that Explorer in Win8.1 allows you to drag the file while the mouse is down and the file is *not* selected. The selection is then magically applied when the drag starts. I find this weird. No plan to implement it.)
