v14.80.0230 now starts default program with double-click on file in portable device folder. :appl: :tup:

Over here it is (14.80.0232)

Man, I did a complete rebuild of my XY environment, took a single xyplorer.exe and stepwise added each
- /data/*.dat
- /data/*.ini
- /data/*/
- ./*
- each section in xplorer.ini -> :ugeek:

-> no more crash :tup:

Then I noticed, the PD tab has "lost" all list settings. I restored them stepwise and saw another crash after checking Rename On Slow Double-Click :?:
But after a restart I didn't see it any more by now. :ninja:

Auto-refresh on Unlock and Auto-refresh on plug-in/off works now over here. :D :) :D

Well, well spent 90 minutes of my live....

Cheers,
Filehero

Hmm, a bit scary, but that was only once, right. :whistle:

So, either 0232 fixed it or you, right?

I did the update after the rebuild because there was no update at the beginning.

I mean, I like to put a different perspective on things, and sometimes it is a nice experience to see exciting patterns when working through xyplorer.ini. But does that :whistle: mean I'd better had wait another 90 minutes because the 0232 update contains a slightly revamped Rename On Slow Double-Click?

:whistle:

Go to a PD location and Tools -> Customize List -> enable necessary options. However, there may be an easier way.

I think your pane.ini broke. goto <xypane1> and/or <xypane2> [in whichever pane is PD opened]. There can be a total of four pane.ini files in those locations+their "t" subfolders. In these ini files, locate [listBrowsePD],[ListFindPD],[ListDrivesPD] sections. What are the values of their Style keys?
Setting these Style values to 1847 (which is in short a good choice) can help with your problem.

Sure it's not the Index column you're seeing at the very left?

Ah, ok. Thanks

@Don: has the yesterday's update rolled-out a change in Rename On Slow Double-Click? :whistle:

grindax wrote:Actually, I found the culprit. Whenever I restore a tabset that was saved before PD was even implemented, the PD list view settings get reset to almost everything off (the only enabled option is 'Show Line Numbers')
OK, this calls for a fix...
