Add "Apply" button to Configuration pane...
so the pane will stay open after we click OK. If we wait to go through all the categories before we click OK, something could happen and we would lose all our selections and have to start over. And if we click OK after every few categories, the pane closes and we have to keep reopening it.

Re: Add "Apply" button to Configuration pane...
OK, apparently it's not readily possible for technical reasons. Then how about having the pane stay open when we click OK and adding a Close button? Actually, we don't even really need a Close button--we could just click the X in the upper right corner, though a button would be a little more elegant. But how about having the pane stay open when we click OK?
Re: Add "Apply" button to Configuration pane...
And after that is done, Don can simply rename OK to "Apply" and make the close button apply the setting and close and rename it as OK.
As I understand it, there isn't a space issue to accomodate the Apply button, but letting the parts of XY know that these changes are done without closing the config dialog.

I'm not a programmer, but doesn't he have to specifically tell the pane to close after the OK button is pressed? In that case, couldn't he just remove that command?
