IMO the current size is okay for now. Let's close this. It's time to move on towards the wonders of 14.00...

I am not so content with the solution of this. If I copy file other than image, the space of thumbnail is there and it looks awful. Additionally this empty space is not taken account when XY calculates the width of the name collision dialog, so the file name is truncated (I have to resize the dialog to show the whole file name).

I was thinking but what if you could also right click on those thumbnails in the dialog to open it up in a floating preview to get a much bigger closeup view?

This has to work in XYcopy as well -- no Floating preview there.

Oh I see. How about opening it up with PFA? I'm guessing that would also depends on XYcopy supporting PFA. So just plain opening it up with whatever is associated in Windows? But that won't be as cool and integrated. Hmm... Couldn't XYcopy somehow pass it back to XYplorer to open it up in floating view or PFA?

Could you perhaps restrict the collision dialog from becoming smaller than the point where it starts cutting cropping the buttons? It's jarring at times

But it's you who controls the size.

Yeah I know but what I mean is that would it be better to have a minimum size restriction? I don't see an issue with large size since the dialog's buttons and elements would reposition and rescale itself no matter how large it gets (at least that's what I'm seeing). However when they resize it to make it smaller to the point where the buttons and elements no longer reposition or rescale itself, it seems kind of pointless to allow them to? So instead restrict them which would then allow the dialog to still at least look the way it was intend to (no cutoff buttons or elements).

I thought let's respect the user's decisions at least to some degree. :)

Haha OK. :)

Anyways... *cough* *cough* What do you think about the ability to open up the file directly from that dialog? The thumbnails are definitely useful but what if they want a closer inspection of it without moving away from the dialogue? I remember you said MDBU would require a lot more work since XYCopy.exe would need to support it but how about just opening up the file? On the other hand I'm guessing doing it that way means it won't support PFA right?
