Option to generate unique filenames for copy/move etc file conflicts

Post by sceptic » 11 Jun 2019 22:00

When move/copying files (File->Move/Copy/Backup To), if some of the files exist you get a prompt to decide if you want to overwrite them or cancel the operation. Instead of just having these 2 options I would like to see this extended to add the option to generate a unique filename (i.e. filename-1.ext, filename-2.ext for example) as well.

You have this option when you enable Configuration | File Operations | File Operations | Custom Copy Operations | Use Custom Copy.
