XY had a tabbed dialog long before you two came on board. It was replaced by the current way because it did not work with the many sections we have now.

I like it the way it is very much. But, could the list on the left have multiple line entries, like for instance in the background job report list (here two lines would suffice)? Otherwise the list itself is becoming a problem in other languages!
