Pin XYplorer to taskbar AND pin fav folders in menu

Post by yogi »

Hi!

I have fixed the "XYplorer" on the taskbar in Windows 7. It's ok.

But now I want to fix my favorite folders from the menu that appears when I click the XYplorer with the right mouse button. Just as happens with Windows Explorer.

How do I?

I don't remember this being requested before, but it seems a good idea to me (although MRU might be interesting as well).

As for when this might be implemented, it logically belongs to "Support for Win7 stuff" on the roadmap. Given the current roadmap order, it will be some time, unfortunately.

Isn't this the same as shown in "Start button/recent programs"? (Win7, not XP.) I.e. the recent documents shown for recent used programs.
Even if you "stick" (German: "angeheftet") documents in one location, the same is shown in the other.

But whatever: it seems rather interesting!

For everyone's reference (and better search-foo)...

The list of custom items on a task bar's context menu is referred to as its Jump List.

Which brings us to three previous and similar wishes:

Refering to another thread I just answered some minutes ago I'd say: if I would have known that these are called "Jump List" I would have searched for it...
