Best resources for user button icons
Best resources for user button icons
Can anyone recommend a place to get a good, well-rendered set of file-management related icons suitable for use with user buttons on the toolbar? Or if you have a great set that you can upload in a zip, that would be appreciated.

Anyone willing the whole set in the .ico format, converted with transparency fix?
Re: Best resources for user button icons
Yes, I do. Please post it. I'd also like the sizes increased, ideally, as well, to match the regular XYplorer icons.neutrox wrote:Anyone willing the whole set in the .ico format, converted with transparency fix?

I can't do it with the current set of source files without losing quality. Sorry.

Thanks neutrox! Having trouble downloading it at the moment (with JDownloader), but will keep trying.

Re: Best resources for user button icons
I made a test download and it worked fine. Ask for help in case you haven't got it yet. But don't forget: you must click the 'get link' button and wait a few seconds so the link will be ready to go with say JDownloader.Jerry wrote:Thanks neutrox! If you or someone else catch a transparency glitch please notify me. I did 3 revisions but hey, there are 3400 files to proof read!

Re: Best resources for user button icons
I've used several icons from the site https://www.flaticon.com/ to customize XYplorer.

The icons are good, but without a 24x24 preview it's useless to me. I cannot find one...alan65 wrote: ↑26 Sep 2020 21:34 I've used several icons from the site https://www.flaticon.com/ to customize XYplorer.

Re: Best resources for user button icons
I use icons8 for most of my icons. They're available in .png and usually .svg too. I've had some luck on Deviantart as well, for finding some very nice fan made icons.
The program icoFX (there's an older free version) provides a nice gui for creating icons of various sizes, in batch, which can save a lot of time (no svg support). I prefer using imagemagick via a shell script though.
