Hi everyone, I use the backup operation to mirror folders from my computer to my backup drive. However, backup doesn't check to see if files in the destination are no longer in the source. This may be useful for two-way folder sync, but not useful when you only want a mirror of a master folder. So far I have been using Sync Select to remove the deleted files, but this is only practical when there are only a few folders. Does anybody know a way to perform a mirror operation on a nested folder structure in xyplorer, with verification like backup uses?
Thanks!

Hi and welcome to the XY forums!
At this time, I don't believe that XY has any built-in support for this...it is planned but not at top of list...see Roadmap at http://www.xyplorer.com/xyfc/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=830

Still spending WAY TOO much time here! But it's such a pleasure helping XY be a treasure!

Thanks j_c_hallgren, I'm thinking this must be possible in a script. It's an area I haven't delved into yet but might be worth trying!!! I'm thinking generate array of nested folders, then for each folder run backup followed by sync select and delete -- assuming these commands can be scripted! Thanks again.
