Re: does not start up
No. TrackerV3, then still "Tracker", started as a file search utility in 1997 and for a year or so lived only on my computer and a Boston friend's one. Aahh, the good old 20th C days...mrx wrote:first of all, was the 'tracker' name stolen, (or borrowed) from BeOS's file manager, called tracker?

LOL!
The gdiplus from filesearching is not the problem
(tho that's a known 'hackery' site)
This is:

(there is no need to authenticate M$ d/lds in Win98!)
Can maybe try this *unsupported version or stick to the built in winfile

Fixed!
It is completely possible to use this without IE. All I did was get the dll file from here:
http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/pop.php?gdiplus
And then paste it into the trackerv3 executeable directory. It now works!
Hahaha I am so smart
