Lock Catalog (No Drag-n-Drop, Changes, etc.)

Post by Zardoz2293 »

Is there a way to LOCK the Catalog so items cannot be dragged and dropped, etc. without first unlocking it?

Thanks!

This is just about dragging catalog items to new positions, right?

Actually, for me, the Catalog is a critical item just like the Tree and I do not want to ever be able to drag and drop through normal methods, even within the Catalog itself. I'd want to have the option to lock it and allow drag and drop if the CTRL or SHIFT or whatever was being pressed during the operation. Even though I have an extremely fast and responsive system, there has been more than once where an unwanted drag-and-drop occurred through the system not updating the "real" location for the drag-and-drop operation which was in the List View and then finding it was implemented on the Tree View (which disabled the ability to perform mouse action there), would like to see that with the Catalog too (only because items were moved from the same kind of action). Some actions just cannot be undone.

I made a note to myself.

PS: Next beta:

Code: Select all

+ Catalog: Added another value to tweak CatalogFlags (bit field):
        32: No drag without CTRL/SHIFT.
