Thumbnail dimensions back colour and text size

Post by kiwichick »

This is probably something I've changed in settings or the config file because it doesn't happen in a clean install (v23.50). Can someone please tell me why:
1) the padding of the back colour at the top of the thumbnail dimensions is bigger than the other three sides, compared to the clean install?
2) the text of the thumbnail dimensions is bigger, compared to the clean install?

1) Padding: probably a difference in style: Configuration | Preview | Thumbnails | Style

2) Font size: is controlled by list font size: Configuration | Colors and Styles | Fonts | Main Contents

Thanks Don, perhaps you misunderstood which padding I was talking about. Thumbnail | Styles has no effect (that I can see) on the dimensions background colour.

The font was exactly as you said. I didn't realise when I changed the font size ages ago that it had also changed the dimensions size. I changed it back to the default to check and the dimensions colour padding I'm talking about was also affected by this. So maybe you could (if you think it's important enough) look at how the padding, or the position of the dimensions, is affected when the font size is changed.

It's not a biggie but, as I said, the padding above the dimesions is bigger than the padding on the other three sides.

Ah, I finally understand what you mean. The height of that box it totally controlled by the font height. I just read this value and apply it. The visual outcome depends on the particular font and size.
