No dimensions for short thumbnails

Post by kiwichick »

Dimensions aren't displayed for short thumbnails. Is there any way to change this?

This is intentional because otherwise most of the image would be covered by the dimensions. No way for you to change that at the moment.

However, when I implemented it like this the labels still were totally opaque. Now that they are half-transparent I could just drop that rule... :maf:

Well, I answered that myself: the next version will show the dimensions for all thumbs.

Hey Don, on this topic, is there any way you could make the background of the thumbnail dimensions completely transparent as an option (i.e., the background would be the thumbnail pic)? I know that would result on some thumbnail images, dimensions that may be hard to distinguish, but overall, it may be a more pleasing visually.

Well, that's a bit of an overkill IMO.

Yes I thought that would be the reason. Now that there's the new view() toggle for dimensions they can be easily switched on or off which is great. And the half-transparency, as you say.
