New(?) Folder Icon

Using 23.20.0100

I've got two (out of eight) directories that have an overlay on the icon to the left of the directory name. This is relatively new behavior. I can't pinpoint exactly when it started, but a week or two ago it wasn't showing and now it is.

a) What does it signify?
b) What did I do to enable it.

I don't know how clearly you can see it in the screenshot, but it looks like two people.

You enabled sharing for that folder?

Yes. But not recently. And the icon only recently showed up. Perhaps in the past week or so. There are two directories on that (external) drive that have the icon, but the entire drive is shared. So shouldn't all the directories show that icon? It's not mission critical for me as I know what's shared. It's just odd that it only showed up recently.
