Is there a way define modifier keys per column i.e. "CTRL+click" on tags field performs a copy tag/tags to clipboard or better yet replace the most recently used tag/tags in memory?

If not I think it would make a great addition.

No, you cannot define modifier keys per column. But the tag column cells have a right-click menu with many options.
