Changing Columns temporarily.

Post by sl23 »

Normally I only have four columns in Detailed view, which is fine for me. However, I wondered if there was a simple way to add a new Column and NOT reset the Columns when navigating?

I know about the setting for "define this folder view as default" but is there a setting that stops Columns resetting on Navigation? Otherwise I need to keep changing the Default constantly.

I am at the moment going through thousands of audio files to compare bit rates for duplicates, so wanted the Bit Rate Column to remain. At least for a few days then reset it back to the way it was. Is the only way to do this via setting it as Default?

Thank you.

Have a look on the Button Column Layouts

Or use a script like LayCatTools

Thank you Horst, I didn't know about that button. That's a great time saver
