Caching Thumbnails for Photos

I know there is a script for this that another user has made however it has broken on me a few times and want to know other options of caching specific folders and keeping them up to date. even when i browse the folder and it caches the thumbnails, when i come back it still refreshes and i want to prevent this by always having it cached somehow. any help is appreciated.

You can't cache specific folders, only all or none

Configuration | Preview | Thumbnails | [x] Cache thumbnails on disk
Configuration | Preview | Thumbnails | [x] Show cached thumbnails only
Configuration | Preview | Thumbnails | [x] Create all thumbnails at once

add the "Thumbnails View" toolbar button and whenever you want to see thumbnails for a folder, right click that button and choose "Create Missing Thumbnails"

Ofc this makes only sense when you are in a thumbnail view mode...

Thank you thats a good idea, i will manually make it cache it all then tick show cached only. thanks.
