Launching XYplorer and comparing files, folders

XYplorer can be rather difficult to launch. I click on the icon on the taskbar and it takes a long time for it to load. Frequently I click on the icon several times and when XYplorer finally opens I have several instances open when I only wanted one. Any suggestions?

Is there a way to compare files and folder contents internally within XYplorer?

After a long startup paste this into the address bar and presse the enter key afterwards. Post the result

E.g. see the differences in two .txt files? Nope
See differences in two folders? Menu - Panes - Sync Select

Thanks for your response. Changing it to 'No Network Browsing on Startup' does appear to help.

I guess you need to subscribe to a thread to get email notifications of replies?

Sync Select looks very interesting. I'll have to experiment with that.
