You mean Quick Search or Live Filter?

I guess he means Quick search which brings of course a Path column.
The question is how usefull is the result of a Quick search without the path info.
If the search is only within one folder Live filter would be the better function to use.

Portable XYplorer (actual version, including betas)

I agree, of course.

Anyway, you can permanently remove the Path column from the search results:
1) Untick "Configuration | Find and Filter | Find Files & Branch View | Find Files | Search results inherit current columns"
2) Run a search.
3) Hide the Path column.
It will be hidden in the next search results.

FYI, "Search results inherit current columns" always uses the current columns AND adds the Path column.
