I've been searching for about 15 minutes now so I've resulted in coming here... this is such a stupid thing to have to ask... but here goes ...
The short version: How do I enable scripting? The option is greyed out...
The long version: I want to try out the scripting feature of XYplorer. I was prompted to investigate because I wanted to find out why XYplorer was taking so long to load. Apparently a very small script will tell me. I have already determined that it relates to my user files for some reason because if I rename the XYplorer folder inside <user>\AppData\roaming to prompt a new one, XYplorer loads instantly. But I was hoping to narrow down the problem.
I finally found where to enable Scripting ... but the option is greyed out and is not selectable. See pic attached.
Can someone please put me out of my misery?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Scripting is disabled
Yes I am using the Home edition. I take it that's the reason.
You'd think this would come up in a search.

Re: Scripting is disabled
The Home Edition existed for a short time and has long disappeared. It's kind of prehistoric. Nevertheless, the licenses still work for the current version, of course.
