as one of users who actually use this "Renamed tabs always visible" mechanic i'm kinda worried with new changelog. i always used tab rename exactly to make it stand out with icon/name, so i'd appreciate this behaviour to stay at least as a tweak(with factory default off to keep new course).

@Don, one little add-wish, can you please mark this tweak(TabDoNotShrinkNamedTabs) in ini file with usual mark(;Tweak), just to not lose this setting in future inis.

can't follow the logic of your statement. Inis don't lose settings, and how would that mark help you? And IMO the key name TabDoNotShrinkNamedTabs was chosen wisely enough to make it easy to find...

it's not really about losing settings, and the name is chosen right, just without ;Tweak mark it looks like ordinary setting corresponding to some GUI. you created a good habit to have all tweaks in INI marked and i think many users already got used to these marks.

The habit is less good than you think. There are many unmarked tweaks. Let's call them minor tweaks. This is one of them.
