One flipping as 'ell annoying thing

I've got one directory, nothing special, containing 57 files and additional directory. However, every flipping time I open it, XY puts the focus on the one directory, and that's at the very bottom of the screen. What can be the cause of this, it only happens for this one folder, and how do I stop it?

I would start with unticking this: Configuration | General | Tree and List | List | Select last used subfolder

That works, thanks, but why does it only happen to this one particular folder, when I have many others containing "last used subfolders"?

It happens only when you move by history (back or forward) or up or down.
