An utterly unimportant question
When XYP starts up it checks for updates and reports the results in the Status Bar. If there are none it shows a green check mark. Was that there before? Just don't recall seeing it previously.
Re: An utterly unimportant question
You can disable the update check through Configuration > General > Startup & Exit > Check for updates on startup.

For what it's worth, this shows a green check mark even though beta updates are available. Could we have an option to check for beta updates too please?
Is there any chance of there being an automatic updates built in? So if the update check fines am update it auto installs it. And same for beta updates. Or is it too much work? Would just be a very useful feature and save users time seeing as there are so many updates. Which is of course a good thing.

You can check for beta updates by holding the Ctrl-key when selecting Help > Online Support > Check for Updates. Alternatively, you can create a custom toolbar button which executes:
Code: Select all
Update 1;
