Folder Sizes

Post by sl23 »

I have unchecked this in settings and tried unchecking it via R-clicking the 'Size' header, but it just keeps showing folder sizes and slowing down navigation.

Any ideas why?

Found this in the config file LiveFilterBoxes=folder size is that anything to do with the problem?

Thanks

Make sure that in the menu, Tools > Customized List "Show Folder Sizes" is also unchecked.

Thanks for the tip. :)

Strange how this can't be turned off via the settings option or via R-clicking the Size column?

EDIT: It seems to keep reactivating itself. Could it be linked to my Columns file at all? I tried to decipher this but it makes no sense to me!
Or could it be related to per folder settings? I think I turned that off though.

How about Folder View Settings (FVS) do you have any set for this folder(s). Look at your "Applied settings" under View > Folder View Settings > Edit... > Edit folder view. Also look at "Manage Folder Views..." See if any of these folders are listed under manage folder views and see what's the default, etc.

I don't know what the cause was exactly. But I just used default view for all folders option and it sorted it out. Thank you for your help tho. Much appreciated.
