Can't get my "command prompt from here" back ...
Hello,
sorry if my question may appear dull but i can't get back the "command prompt from here" item in the context menu.
The shorcut (Ctrl+Alt+P) works as expected but i can't configure the context menu to make the option appear ...
I made the changes in Tools/Configuration/General/Menus, Mouse, usability/Folder tree
But the settings i choose don't appear in the context menu ...
What am i overlooking ? (XYplorer 21.70)
Thanks !

Then show the menu (a screenshot) that you get when right clicking a tree item?

Do you have Configuration > Other > Shell Integration > 64-bit Windows > Show the 64-bit context menu, enabled? If so, try disabling?

Re: Can't get my "command prompt from here" back ...
The screenshot seems to show the list, with a list item right-clicked, rather than the tree?

This option works fine for me in the Tree but I'm missing a way to get that entry with a folder in the file list.
There no such option under Tools/Configuration/General/Menus, Mouse, usability/File_List ?

Sorry ... my mistake ... i'm in the same case as Horst ... menu setting is ok for use in the tree ... but i wondered how to configure it in the folder view ... the menu appearing in that case has not the same content as the one appearing when right-clicking the tree ...

Horst,
If u have XyPlorer 21.70 there is such option (a button just right to "folder tree" button) but the commands available are limited ... and no command prompt from here ... that's weird ...
Re: Can't get my "command prompt from here" back ...
I have 21.70.0101 and there is definitely no Command prompt option in the configuration for the file_listsnaileater wrote: ↑30 Apr 2021 19:48Horst,

The "command prompt from here" context menu entry comes from Windows.
It is in the extended context menu, which means you have to SHIFT+rightclick to see it.
(Or press SHIFT+F10; that will show the regular + extended context menu, as it is a bit hard to type SHIFT+SHIFT+F10 )
