Save Settings on Exit

I am trying to uncheck the box "Save settings on exit" in Tools > Configuration > General > Startup & Exit.

I can uncheck the box. But when next I open the Tools > Configuration window, the box is checked again. xyPlorer ALWAYS saves my last settings. I would like to always start with the same folders open. Not sure how to do this.

From a logical point of view, wouldn't you have to save the settings once more manually, after changing this one setting?

Anyway, just to start with the same tabs open I would rather look into creating a tabset of the required tabs and then load this tabset with a startup script on launch of XY.

Yes, but XY ingeniously takes care of the logical intricacies of auto-saving a setting that says "don't auto-save".
