I am using Ver 21.5 on WIN 10(64)
Is there a built in tool for unzipping zipped files
Few other file managers have this tool
Hence this question

Unzipping files
Re: Unzipping files
Look at viewtopic.php?f=3&t=20337&p=168941&hili ... ip#p168941
Personaly I prefer to use the context menu entries from the installed 7zip which can extract most formats.

Re: Unzipping files
There is something strange going on with Zip View:
When opening a zip file that contains a folder structure, I can enter some folder, but I can't go one level back up.
Is that possible somehow?

Yes, I noted that, too. It's weird, there should be some way but I never found one. (The Zip View is by Windows, not by XYplorer)

Re: Unzipping files
Hi all,
Saw it was not mentioned in the https://www.xyplorer.com/release_12.60.php#Zip but sharing a suggest that a user button (with #280) can be created for File > File Special > Extract here
Probably slower but this means that instead of using keyboard commands, a button can also be click. However, I am not sure how to assign a keyboard shortcut to make this faster. Perhaps seniors or anyone can suggest more.
Regards,
N

Re: Unzipping files
Go to Tools - Customize Keyboard Shortcuts. Select File category and there should be the Extract Here command for you to assign a/some key/s.
