Does anyone have any good looking / readable (if they contain the extension in the icon) icons for XYplorer scripts (.xys, .xyi).
Vector (.svg) would be perfect but 32x32 as .png would be fine as well...
@Kunkel, maybe you?

Re: XYplorer script (xys, xyi) icons?
Hey Highend!
Are there any particular images you're looking for in an icon? Like what kind of scripts need an icon? Or is it an icon to denote scripting in general?
And what in the world is an xyi extension!!!?? I guess I'd better start spending more time on the forum...

I don't know... Those look pretty good. Are you wanting to match Don's style more, or are you heading in the other direction -- wanting a totally different look?

Good question. I guess I'd prefer the first option

Re: XYplorer script (xys, xyi) icons?
I'm not sure I could do any better than what you have.. Regarding the 3D gradient, it occures to me that there is a thin darker rim on the top edge. It gives the shape the appearance of being "embossed" rather than a full-on 3D egg shape. Having said that, at the resolution you have in your image, the black edge disappears. The two images on the left (see img) are of the same icon, hi and low rez. The low rez one is pretty close to yours. I think Don's "light source" might be a little more to the left than yours(?) His is about 10:30. Yours is more like 11:30.
Interestingly, the actual app icon is the one on the top/right. The left icon is from 'Contents64.exe.'
You could also go with something like the bottom right. Rather than the logo being superimposed on a document, you could have it on one of those curly scolls. It probably wouldn't be recognizable at low rez though.
Anyway... You've made good use of the pixels on your orange 's' and 'i.' They look more like real letters than Don's orange 'y' does, but there's nothing wrong with that. I guess you could make them a little thicker (bold font) if you want to match more. Also, Don's 'X' is more curvy and asymettrical, but your's probably looks better at 24 or 16 pixles.

Re: XYplorer script (xys, xyi) icons?
I was playing around trying to replicate Don's style in Xs and Xi. The "i" is particularly difficult because it's vertical, which is at odds with all of the exsisting angles (which are diagnol)
I quess they do survive the 16 pix reduction antialiasing better than I expected. I can't figure out why Xs is losing its transparency when I export it though... Will try again tomorrow.

Re: XYplorer script (xys, xyi) icons?
Mazot's got a good thing going too. THe colors are a bit of a deviation from Don's original theme, but the different colors do make them easier to distringuish...
EDIT: It occurs to me that Chrome is not flagging my misspellings.... My apologies to everyone!
