Hello

Does Xyplorer have the option to delete some items from the metadata of an image? . For example:
Delete camera model,
camera manufacturer,
capture date, etc.

Thanks

Without scripting and using an external tool to remove them? Nope

If it does not exist by default or if there is no script, it would be a good idea to incorporate it into XYPLORER
Another query, does removing metadata reduce file size?
very important to compress a batch of files.

depends on the size of the meta data, of course.

For (camera) images it's not worth the effort, imho. I use exiftool for metadata cleanup of images. It IS mighty. However, its command line only.

There is exiftool, no need to reinvent the wheel
