I am new to the program, and I wish someone would kindly help me on this::
I would like to do text search to single out those MS Word documents which contain multiple keywords, say for example, containing both the words "cats" and "dogs". I am doing well with single word search , but I am in no luck for multiple, after trying like "cats +dogs", "cats & dogs"...... So my question is, what is I exactly to do in the text search box to make it work? Thanks in advance
Question on text search
Re: Question on text search
Leave the content field empty and use this in the name field:
Using positive lookaheads in the content field would probably be a bit too much...
*.docx AND cont:word1 AND word2
Using positive lookaheads in the content field would probably be a bit too much...

Re: Question on text search
Thanks for the answer. Would you mind telling me what kind of expression or logic is it? So that I can enlighten myself in long run.
Re: Question on text search
.chm help file: Main Topics - Info Panel - Find Files Tab - Tab "Name & Location" - "Find Files by Contents"
and the entry for "Find Files by Multi Field Search" belongs to this as well
- So we have a multi field search here (searching for the file extension and the content)
- The "cont:" is a scope selector for searching the content
- The AND is a logical and (find files with that extension and find both words)
