How To Add & Remove Color Label

I am embarrassed to have to ask how do I add or remove a label. I just want to highlight some folder names. I read the Users Guide but that did not have an answer.

I select a folder then tags, labels, color, no change.

I found that I can label Folders and Files using the method described in the Users Guide.

I have not been able to use this method to label Folders that contain Sub-Folders. Does XYPlorer have this capabilty?
