Hi!
I would like to search through 500gb of data to find duplicate files of ALL file extensions. I've noticed that the finder skips files with extension ".abf" for instance. Is there some way to add what extensions the finder will search for?
Thank you!
Chris

No extensions are skipped.
What kind of dupes are you looking for? Name? Date? Size? Contents? Image?

Re: Finding dupes not working with certain file extensions
Don, I noticed an issue that may be relevant to what the OP is referencing, here is a image that may explain it better than I could:
After I made the image above I then subsequently realized the reason why XY returned no results, it seems from my tests that only if the items are sorted adjacent to each other (I assume in your search routine), matches will be returned, an example: if the 3 files in the image are changed to this:
filename.mp4
filename.srt
filename.txt.xml
XY will find the first 2 items as dupes, but if the filenames are named like in the right hand side of the screenshot above it won't find any matches, even though the first and last items really are matches. This may not be what the OP is referencing, but it seems on topic.

Confirmed and wow! Good find!
Fix comes in the next beta.
Curious if this also fixes the OP's issue...
