XYplorer Beta Club
I'm currently taking a look at XYplorer and something that bothers me is that I can only select a file / folder by directly clicking on its name. Hovering over it highlights it, but I cant open it? This feels so counter-intuitive.
Is this behaviour changeable?

You could try Tools > Configuration > Menus, Mouse, Usability > Mouse > Single-click to open an item, which you can modify with the option underneath: On the icon only.

OK thanks but this is not what I was looking for. But a bit below that, there is

This is good and comes close to what I need, but what I am looking for is something like this:
Assume I am in Details View and I hover over a file. It doesn't matter where my mouse is at that point, the file is highlighted.
Now I would like to open this file when double clicking, no matter where my mouse is ( could be above the Type or the Modifed or Created columns)
I assume if it was possible, it would be next to the other option I found.
Am I right?
