Category for Search Begin With

[NS-Zero]

I create Category name "Search Begin With" in Category Properties I tick "Use category for searching", Operator is "OR" and Location is "/n"
Item in my category is #, A-Z pattern is

Caption: 0-9 Pattern: #* OR ] # OR ]# OR \) # OR \)#
Caption: A Pattern: A* OR ] A OR ]A OR \) A OR \)A
Caption: B Pattern: B* OR ] B OR ]B OR \) B OR \)B
.
.
.
Caption: Z Pattern: Z* OR ] Z OR ]Z OR \) Z OR \)Z

If I click item in my category (click at item don't click at square for tick), result is my want.
But if I tick item in my category some result disappear.

Between click and tick at address bar show is different.
Click: Location?A* OR ] A OR ]A OR \) A OR \)A /n //A
Tick: Location?(A* OR ] A OR ]A OR \) A OR \)A) /n
It add "(...)" when tick.

I think adding "(...)" should not change result. It bug or not?

Or I used wrong Pattern.
Please advise.
