Thumbnails not showing

I hope this not a newbie question, but I am not able to figure out a solution.

There is no way to make XYplorer show thumbnails for Office and PDF files. I can see them in Explorer, but not in XYplorer. Preview (F11) works fine for both PDf and Office files. The hoover box works for PDFs, but for Office files, only text is displayed.

What is wrong?

Now I just have problems with Office thumbnails. But this is probably related to 64-bit Office.

However, I have noticed that XYplorer handles differently files on OneDrive. If the files are not downloaded the thumbs are not displayed. Is this correct/normal?

XY can't generate any thumbnails for files that do not exist locally

Why XYplorer don't show thumbnails for MS Office 2016-2019 (docx, xlsx....) ?

You might need to provide a bit more info about your versions of XY and Office (bitness is key here).
Recent versions of XY added the ability to use both iFilter versions (32 and 64 bit) so just updating to the latest version might solve your problem.

Thank you. My MS Office is 2016 Pro 64 bits. Windows 10 Pro 64 bits and XyPlorer 20.60.0300 (attachment).

You might want to check your settings for Shell Integration/Use 64bit iFilters and /Fall back to iFilters of the other bitness.

@RalphM: OK I set up as you indicate but (xlsx) the thumbnail is visible but it does not match the file and only shows a vertical list of numbers 1 1 1 or 1 2 3 4..... Thank you.
