add resolution and size to filename?

Post by FlyAway »

Hi :)

I use thumbnails display. Is it possible that under the thumb there is not only the name but also weight and resolution?
For example:

filename.mp4
size 1.4 mb - resolution 1280x1024

Use the info panel (tab: Meta) instead if you want to see both values

You can add the dimensions to the thumbnail with this setting:

Configuration | Preview | Thumbnails | Show dimensions of original image on thumbnail

but if you want file size as well you should probably try Large Tile View which will show the info you are requesting.

Another way to display those values: viewtopic.php?t=19183

too difficult for me and my English ... too bad the option "Show dimensions of original image " does not work, it would have been better than nothing

text quote(<prop #image.dimensions>);
Select an image, copy and paste the above command into the address bar and hit the {ENTER} key.
Show the output...

Originally when I made suggestions I had assumed being in thumbnail mode and 1.4mb file size you were referencing images, subsequently I have now noticed you had used an mp4 in your example, unfortunately as you have now found out videos don't apply to that setting (either suggestion), only images.
