I've tried playing with this but can't figure it out. Is there a way to set a different default "Sort By" view for different folders? Right now I've gone into View / Sort By and checked "Name (ascending)". However, I would like some folders to default to a different sort by default. For instance, the Downloads folder to "Modified" sort, so I don;t have to go in and change it every time.

On a related question, is there also a way to set a default "View / Views" for different folders? For instance, List view for most of my folders, yet a default Thumbnails #2 view for my picture folders?
