Licensing - multiple computers

Post by CactusPie »

Hello! I have 2 small questions regarding licensing.

1. If I purchase any of the available licenses will I be allowed to use it on both my personal PC as well as a work PC?
2. Are there any IP restrictions? I use VPN both at work and (rarely) at home, so even though it will be run on only 2 machines, the license server connections might sometimes come from different IPs. There shouldn't be too many IPs though, usually just 2 from work (VPN IP and local IP) and 1 from home.

I will obviously be the only user of the license.

XYplorer has a liberating license: "It is valid for all of the user’s computers and never expires."
the license is valid on all of your computers as long as you're the only user.
There are no IP restrictions.

But Don (the main developer) should confirm.

This is an interesting question that I never thought to ask. I have two PC's and three laptops in my household, used by both me and my spouse for work and for personal use (no kids living at home). Do I need just one license, or two, or five?

I'd say two licenses for the two of you, since you both are presumably using XYplorer.

Yep, one license per user.
