Tab colour does not change when highlighted

I did change the tab background colour. And now the tab background colour does not change when highlighted.

Yeah this was a design change, it used to be fixable with a tweak:

      Now the custom tab colors are always shown, whether the tab is selected or

      pixel tab border now shows the color hue of the Breadcrumb Bar.

I have to say I used the tweak previously and miss its effect, I realize it wasn't the default though so not many people came to know about it but I personally wish it was still available, I don't like the new implementation, it is really hard to see the 1px outline, I've had to resort to not having any custom colored tabs.

My view is that you want the custom color to be able to quickly find and switch to a tab when it isn't active, and when it is active you don't need to see the color, and it actually becomes a hindrance.

Yeah, to me it seemed quite logical to want the selected tab to have it own assignable color independent of the colors set for the tabs. In my case I had the background color simply set to match the background of the BC and list pane. It was readily apparent which tab was the selected tab. As you stated Jupe, it didn't help that wasn't brought to the interface. I thought the "selected tab" deserved to have its own separate color setting. "Match selected tab with Breadcrumb bar" would not be needed. Personally to me as it stands now, "Match selected tab..." setting makes no sense. I wish you had jumped on board on the other thread.
