I think I'm running into -- for the first time with XY -- an error in my installation.
I'm trying to delete some of my custom labels, and all of the built-in labels as well (e.g. red, yellow, etc).
When I try to delete them (Config > Tags) the "DELETE" button is grayed out. The only exception is it will let me delete (only one of them though) 1 of my 3 user created Labels.
I'm not sure if this is the norm, but when I upgraded from the free version (about a year ago), I expected my XY root directory to change, but it still resides here: C:\Users\admin\AppData\Roaming\XYplorerFree\
I tried deleting the following from C:\Users\admin\AppData\Roaming\XYplorerFree\tag.dat:
Labels:
"Red||FC7268;Orange||F6AB46;Yellow||EFDC4A;Green||B5D74A;Blue||5DA4FE;Purple||E29CDC;Grey||B5B5B5;"
But they're still showing up in CONFIG > TAGS... and when I close and reopen XY... the tag.dat file rebuilds itself.
FYI: I just updated the program to 20.40 last week.
Thanks ahead of time for any help.

Re: How to Delete a Tag (specifically a Label)
You can only delete starting from the last item in the list (they need to retain their order), also you need to leave at least 1 label in the list or it will reset back to default if you empty it completely and close the dialog, so just click on the last label in the list and then the Delete button should light up, then just repetitively press Delete button (without making another selection), and it will consecutively remove the last item from the list, once you are down to 1 item, just edit it if required, don't remove it.

You rock Jupe! Thanks so much. Really glad I discovered this before I start creating tons of tags.
