Apk icons - apkshellext2
Apk icons - apkshellext2
made few searches and was really surpriced found only one topic about apk files at all.
my first question is how to make them be visible in XY?(individual icons that apks have)
second questions is why XY doesn't work with apkshell2? that's the most wide spread tweak for adding apk-icons support, and after installing it Explorer started to show icons, but nothing happened for XY(even after numeroues refreshes and restarts of system).
what is the solution to add support of these icons? maybe some other "thumbs view"-codec?

Re: Apk icons - apkshellext2
So 2 APK files can have different icons, like EXE files?
Are they shown on the Properties Tab (Info Panel)?

Re: Apk icons - apkshellext2
APK's are basically zip files, I assume the ShellExtension is extracting the icon from the zip, caching and displaying it. No they currently wouldn't be shown in the IP.
Re: Apk icons - apkshellext2
@Don you will try internal support with retrieving icon from apk?

Re: Apk icons - apkshellext2
You will need a Shell Extension as well. I don't have one. So from my point of view it was merely theoretical.

They have to be 32-bit shell extensions...

Re: Apk icons - apkshellext2
Well, since that kind of died I will remove APK again from the special icon support.
