Default file manager

I am using version 20.20.0100. When I initially installed XYplorer, I set it as the default file manager in the Shell Integration tab of the Configuration menu. I now would like to return to the Windows file manager as the default. When I try to uncheck the appropriate box, I am not allowed to do so. The message is that "You need administrator rights to change this setting." I have such rights under the Administrator account, UAC controls are off, and I have taken ownership of the folders in which the program and its settings are stored, but no success. Does anyone have a suggestion as to how I can change this setting?

Running XY as admin should enable you to change the option.

Thanks greatly. this simple step worked. I am a very experienced Windows user, so I am quite surprised to learn after all these years, that running under the Administrator account still requires additional rights for some processes.
