Thank you. The Preview Pane shows the WMP control, which should use the tweak. I can't explain why it won't.

Maybe Don will consider adding the offset to the Preview tab of the Info Panel.

This doesn't address your original query, but if you interested in an alternative method, have you tried this: https://www.xyplorer.com/release_17.50.php#QAP

It allows for quick time jump by moving the mouse sideways.

This setting is only for Video files:

Configuration | Preview | Preview | Video preview | Preview static frame, skip

It was never meant to work for audio.
