Good afternoon all,
I am working on a project where I am copy large files from my NAS to local. Sometimes the network browsing is a little slow when the file moves are in progress. When one file is moving, I tend to browse up other network locations and add more moves to the queue. Works well, but a little slow. I found that if I start a move, then pause XYCopy, then fill up the queue and un-pause, no speed issues since no moves are taking place.
This works and I can continue doing so; however, is there an option or a method that I can have the queue startup in a paused state vs. start a copy/move and manually pause ? I looked through Tools / Configuration and didn't see anything and I haven't explored a script option yet.
XYCopy - Start queue paused
Re: XYCopy - Start queue paused
You can just right click the green tick in the bottom right of the status bar and select "Pause Queue", or alternatively press the tick and check the box in the bottom of the background jobs window.
