Colour of space next to Tabs

Post by brianhuahin »

How do I change the colour of the spare space next to Tabs heading? In Dark Mode it is changed from the usual Windows colour.
I would post a picture but no idea how to do.

Regards
Brian

Strange that FreeCommander and Directory Opus seem to manage it.

Where does this blue come from? Is that a Windows system color?

Hi
The choice of the blue color or any other for that matter is part of the settings in both applications.

Well, when I said "Not possible" I meant it's not possible currently. Did not mean to say it's impossible to add...

In the next beta you can tweak that color:

Code: Select all

+ Tab Bars: Added tweak to customize the background color of the tab bars.
Specify the color in RRGGBB format, e.g.:
        TabBarBackColor=BFDAFE

Hi
The speed of your responses never fail to impress.
You can take that as a complement.

List title background color

Post by brianhuahin »

Hi
Next job, on the assumption you are up for it, is to be able to change the List title background color.

Made the appropriate changes to the color and makes no difference. Back to the drawing board, unless I am doing some thing wrong? The location you specify is for bread crumbs.

The column headers are currently controlled by the Windows Theme if you are in light mode (= non-Dark Mode). But as you can see in Dark Mode I can control them as I please... :) ... so, well, I could make that happen in light mode by another tweak... if only to surpass those other insignificant applications you mentioned...

BTW, you seem to use the ugly "XYplorer Classic Style" with your tabs (Configuration | Tabs and Panes | Tabs | Visual style). Why? Windows Theme Style looks better IMO...
