I'd appreciate your help.

I'd like to change the background color of the "paper folder" list in an independent way of the browse list color scheme.

Is it possible to change "paper folder" list color (same way you can customize the colors for "find" list)

It's not possible currently, there is a recent wish for it here though:

edit: I just had a thought about a workaround, if you are interested ? There are downsides to doing it this way though, one of those being that you would need to set the color for each paperfolder separately, so if you commonly reuse the same paperfolder files (or don't mind quickly setting the color), it would maybe help a little, anyway to test it out go into your <xypaper>\filename location and then using the following menu items you could change the background color:

Favorites | Set Box Color...
Favorites | Toggle Boxed Branch
