for which type of audio / video files,
does your os support length information for these files through installed codecs
...

Sorry but that column shows the full length of the file / folder (with it's path), it has nothing
to do with video or audio length...

For video lengths look at e.g.:
viewtopic.php?f=7&t=18654

and for audio length add a column, right click the column header
of that new column and choose the special property "Length"
