OT: Anything wrong with Twitter?

Post by admin »

Since yesterday I cannot search for any tweets mentioning "XYplorer" anymore. I did not change my search settings and changing them now does not help either. I see this in place of the search results:

Huh? :eh:

I don't use Twitter or even have a log in, but I Googled "Twitter" and clicked on the "Twitter search" link, I was able to search for XYplorer. It gave me all entries concerning XYplorer. Is it working now?

Do you see the tweet I just created 5 minutes ago?

I do, facelift snake etc..

I also don't have a Twitter account or use it though, if that is relevant.

What about if you open it in a Private Window/Incognito, same result?

Interesting! Incognito I see everything alright!

But of course I want my normal window. Something changed 2 days ago, but what? And how can I change it back? Maybe just a reboot...?

I'm a little late, but I saw your "Facelift to the snake..." entry as well.

I managed to get search results by logging out of twitter. For a while. Now that *mostly* stopped working as well. :veryconfused:

This link brings results about 1 of 4 times (I'm not logged into twitter), else it shows the error I posted in the first post:
https://twitter.com/search?f=tweets&q=XYplorer&src=sprv

So, that looks like a twitter bug to me. I will give it some days to just disappear...

(Tested in Firefox and Chrome -- no difference)

PS: When I use the incognito window and log into twitter I just get the error 100%, just like being logged into twitter in the normal window.

It works alright again. Either they fixed at, or it was today's Windows reboot including an update. Whatever, case closed.
