I read in the help file it says "Check it to have all thumbnails in the current list created at once (not just the ones that are currently visible in the viewport)."
idk what that means? what is the current list? is it all the tabs I have open? or something else?
Cause I only want thumbnails cache for the specific folders I use (the tabs I have open) and not the entire parent directory sub-directories.
Cache Thumbnails? How Does It Work?
Re: Cache Thumbnails? How Does It Work?
For every folder you show / open in XY and for which you use any of the three thumbnails view modes.
E.g. if you have
R:\Pictures\Holidays\Timbuktu
but you only ever open its parent
R:\Pictures\Holidays
XY won't generate thumbs for the Timbuktu subfolder
But you shouldn't probably tick:
Configuration | Preview | Thumbnails | [ ] Include search results
